The Social Development department is located at the Gitsegukla Administration Office, and oversees social funding programs and community support services in Gitsegukla. Social Development is responsible for processing Social Assistance payouts, supplying/determining Special Needs support eligibility, managing S.A client support, such as Wood, Hydro, TELUS, Rent, etc.
To sign up for S.A, talk to Social Development at the Gitsegukla Administration Office.
– 2 Pieces of ID
– Previous Year’s Tax Assessment
– Bank Statements from the previous 2 months.
You must complete your monthly renewal form each month before your S.A is processed.
